Chad . My husband . my love . my hero

This day is not significant for Chad and I, but as I was thinking about the year ahead I couldn't help but become excited for what is in store.  I began to think about our marriage, and quickly became overwhelmed with the amazing man that I married 3 1/2 years ago.  What a gift he has been to my life and to so many others around him.

I love Chad for so many reasons that I can't nearly express all of them in one paragraph.  He is kind hearted, funny, honest to the core, smart, ambitious, wise beyond his years, and of course in my opinion the most handsome man alive!  He loves God and leads our family according to values placed in his heart.  I'm proud of him, I admire him and I love him with all of my heart.

I snapped a few shots of him this past week and as I looked through them began to tear up at the thought of how special he really is.  I love you handsome, now and forever!

Since Starbucks Says its Christmas . Santa

I was in Starbucks yesterday, got my cup of coffee in the infamous red cup with the snowflakes on it, but it doesn't stop there.  As I was waiting for my name to be called the tune "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" playing in the background.  It seems a bit extra crazy that the holidays are upon us this year, and as the years past, it also seems that Christmas starts earlier and earlier.  In honor of the madness that will be the next couple months, I ran across this pic I took at the Chrissie Bash at our church.  It is one of my favorite photos of all time!

If you are interested in a print of this photograph you can visit here for ordering instructions.  Enjoy!

Horsin' Around

WARNING : staring at a computer screen in excess may cause extremely cheesy blog post titles ;).  In other news, I did a family shoot on a farm in Oregon (pics to follow).  Met some mules along the way.  Thought they were cute enough to post.
